Matt Holliday is batting .287 with 11 homers.Cardinals Trade for Matt HollidayThe St. Louis Cardinals acquired outfielder Matt Holliday from the Athletics on Friday in exchange for Triple-A 3B Brett Wallace, Triple-A right-hander Clayton Mortensen and Double-A outfielder Shane Peterson. Holliday, 29, hit .287 with 11 homers and 54 RBIs this season for the A's but has been hot of late, batting .338 with a .413 on-base percentage, three homers and 14 RBIs in July. He is eligible for free agency this offseason.
